1、 Product features:
1. Customized products: customized production according to water quality, water quantity, emission requirements, and other requirements;
2. Equipment materials: carbon steel, fiberglass, stainless steel, etc;
3. Equipment Overview: Multi media filters can remove large suspended particles in water, thereby reducing the SDI value of water and meeting the water quality requirements for deep purification. The equipment has low cost, low operating expenses, and simple operation; The filter material has the characteristics of being backwashed, reusable, and having a long service life.
2、 Technical principle:
1. A multi-media filter (also known as a mechanical filter) is a typical multi-media filter that uses layered smokeless coal, sand, fine garnet, or other materials as the bed layer;
2. The top layer of the bed is composed of the lightest and coarsest grade materials, while the heaviest and finest grade materials are placed at the bottom of the bed. The principle is to filter by depth - larger particles in the water are removed at the top layer, while smaller particles are removed deeper in the filter medium. So as to achieve the standard of coarse filtration in water quality;
3. The equipment is pressure type, and its principle is that when raw water passes through the filter material from top to bottom, suspended solids in the water are intercepted by the surface of the filter layer due to adsorption and mechanical flow resistance; When water flows into the middle of the filter layer, due to the tighter arrangement of sand particles in the filter material layer, there are more opportunities for particles in the water to collide with the sand particles. As a result, flocs, suspended solids, and sand particles in the water adhere to each other, and impurities in the water are trapped in the filter material layer, resulting in clear water quality. The suspended solids in the filtered effluent can be below 5 milligrams per liter.
3、 Application scope:
Multi media filters are widely used in water treatment processes, mainly for pre-treatment of turbidity removal, softened water, electrodialysis, reverse osmosis, and can also be used for sediment removal in surface water and groundwater.
